I've signed up for an account, but I can't log in, what's going on?

This is one of the biggest problems potential members face, and it's quite a simple solution.

When you signed up for an account, at the final page you would have have received the following message:
Your account has been created. However, this board requires account activation by the Administrator. The Administrator has been sent an email regarding your account and you should expect details via email on how to activate your account in the next few hours. If you don't receive an email please check your spam/junk folder, should you receive no email after 24 hours then please email the Administrator directly.

But I didn't get an email?

Chances are that you did, but your email program/provider labeled it as spam and chucked it into your anti-spam/trash folder, check in there!
